英国萨里大学郑嵩琳校友情牵宝应中学

　　自宝应中学80华诞庆典将于2008年10月18日举办的消息公布，尤其是“难忘峥嵘岁月”校庆征文启事刊发后，近日翔宇教育集团编辑部陆续收到了海内外宝中校友的邮件与信函多封。其中，有一封寄自英国萨里大学的邮件格外引人注意，成为编辑部征集到的首篇海外校友校庆征文来稿。  
　　在题为《关于宝应中学的回忆》这篇文章中，正在萨里大学商业管理系就读本科的郑嵩琳同学，动情回忆了2001年至2003年他在宝应中学2001级5班度过的难忘时光。“亲切”的张晓阳老师，“严谨”的刘玉国老师和三位英语科任老师徐礼苏、林菊、王玉都给他留下了深刻而美好印象。郑嵩琳说，这几年他在许多网站媒体上都能看到翔宇教育集团的消息，他希望翔宇教育集团宝应中学能做中国最好的学校，能看到有更多的翔宇学子走出中国，走向世界。（李玉佩）

A memory of Baoying Middle School

　　How time flies!   
　　　I have already graduated from Baoying Middle School, Xiangyu Education Group for 4 years. I spent 2 years in Baoying Middle School since 2001. I am now a final year Business Management undergraduate student at University of Surrey. I will probably go to Royal Holloway, University of London for postgraduate studies. In another word, I have been here since 2003. During this period of time, I finished my foundation course and most of the undergraduate lessons.   
　　I always saw some news about our school on some education websites and even on some official ones. Once I saw the news, I would feel more and more proud of our school. I miss those teachers, classmates and friends from Baoying Middle School so much, especially those who were in Class 5, Grade 1 when we enter the school in 2001. Xiaoyang Zhang, who was the teacher in charge of our class at that time, was so kindly to us. He always told historical, interesting stories in his class. Yuguo, Liu, was the Mathematic teacher of our class. He was so strict that we were all afraid of him. On the other hand, all students from our class like him as well. I still remember that my English was the best of all my subjects. It reminds me of some English teacher, such as Ju Lin, Yu Wang and Lisu Xu. I should really appreciate Mr Lisu Xu. When I left school and applied for other school, he helped me write the personal statement and translate plenty of significant materials for the application. Thanks to all the teachers at Baoying Middle School, what you taught us were not just knowledge, skills but also how to be a human being. School trained us how to enter the world as a Chinese.   
　　Finally, I wish our school to be the most famous and the best in China, even in the world, to bring up more and more good students. I wish students in Baoying Middle School could go to those universities in their dream when they graduate.

附2：作者自我简介  
　　郑嵩琳，江苏省扬州市宝应人，2001年秋天至2003年夏天就读于翔宇教育集团宝应县中学。在宝应中学就读期间，曾担任2001级5班班长一职，校学生会成员，校业余党校培训学员。2003年秋天转学至英国圣安德鲁斯学校（St’ Andrews School, London）学习管理课程，现就读于萨里大学商业管理系(School of Management, University of Surrey)，主修金融及房地产，2007年6月底本科即将毕业。  
　　在国外求学期间，一直能以翔宇校训鞭策自己，为中华之崛起而读书，做走向世界的中国人。
